Close Protection

We specialise in the deployment of Close Protection around the world. All operatives are SIA qualified. We provide both Male & Female CPO’s .

• Personal Bodyguards
• Security Drivers
• Escort Team  
• Residential Security Teams, providing security for permanent residences, offices, venues & also temporary locations for holidays and high profile events.
• Fully integrated VIP Protection Team, comprising perhaps of driver(s), bodyguard(s), escort officer(s), residential security officer(s) and a dedicated security contract manager/consultant *if required

CP - Close Protection. The SIA (UK Regulatory Authority) defines a Close Protection Officer as someone whose role is "to establish and maintain a safe working environment in which a Principal can live and work whilst continuously minimising risk".

BG - Bodyguard. When employed within a full Protection Team, the BG remains closest to the Principal. Their main role is therefore the "cover and evacuation" of the Principal if threatened.

IBG - Individual Bodyguard. When employed on a 1:1 basis,  when they are the only Security person employed by the Principal, the IBG must perform all of the security details associated with their role.

PES - Professional Escort Squad. Also known as Personall Escort Squad / System. These are the Escort Officers, they provide the next layer of protection around the Principal, just beyond  the BG / IBG. They are primarily tasked with assisting the BG, and specifically with dealing with any threat directly, to facilitate the cover and evacuation of the Principal by the BG / IBG.

RST - Residential Security Team. These are the Officers that provide security at the Principals home, office and residences. Often these duties are performed by the PES (above) when the Principal is not in transit.

SAP - Security Advanced Party  These are the Officers that go ahead in advanced of the Principal, to conduct surveys of intended locations for visits by the Principal. Again, this role will be performed by the more experienced members of the PES. This is one of the most important roles within the Close Protection Team.

TL - Team Leader. This is primarily a Management/Consultancy function, usually performed by the most experienced member of the team, or else a team member with direct connections to the Principal. The TL should co-ordinate all team functions (BG, PES, RST, SAP etc), and also be the primary link between the Close Protection Team and the Principal / Personal Assistant.

SD - Security Driver. The Officer is responsible for not only the security of the vehicles, but also the control of the vehicle during normal operation and also evacuations when threatened. Advanced, Defensive, Offensive and Anti-Ambush Driving Techniques are a high end discipline.

Surveillance

Electronic Counter-Measures

The consequences of confidential client information, company merger plans, or research and development information being lost to competitors or market speculators are real threats for company survival in the commercial environment of today. 

• There are many ways that sensitive and secret information can be intercepted.  Eavesdropping on meetings, telephone conversations, facsimile transmissions to name a few, can provide a wealth of information for the potential adversary.
   
• Indications show that electronic eavesdropping is on the increase; sales of equipment used for this purpose have risen dramatically in the past few years.
   
• Due to a vast increase of subcontract staff having access to the building, office refurbishment’s and moves are a time when opportunities may present themselves to eavesdroppers that may normally be closed to them.  Electronic Counter-Measures (ECM) surveys should be conducted after an office refurbishment or move.
